David Chivers delves into the realm of darkish experimental ambient music together with his newest observe, “Peret.” Drawing inspiration from historical Egyptian rituals, this mesmerizing composition weaves collectively natural and evolving sounds, using warped voices, strings, synths, and brass to create a haunting sonic panorama harking back to acclaimed artists like Hildur Guðnadóttir and Burial.

With a background as a classical violinist and a profitable profession with the Royal Scottish Nationwide Orchestra, Chivers made a daring shift into rock and electronics with the formation of his band, Aéronèf, in 2020.
