Seawind of Battery follows the NYCTaper policy of the 2024 Strong in the Valley event.

This stunning day on the land was the start of Mike Horn’s Seawind of Battery job. Mike is no man to this site, but it’s the second day we have featured him since the launch of his lovely new album,” East Coast Cosmic Dreamscaper” on Warhen Records. I received an advanced version of the album thanks to Mike for being kind enough to give me, and I was immediately impressed by the direction in which he had taken this project. He could have released” clockwatching part 2″ and won several fans over, but he instead chose to continue exploring ambinet landscapes and discover a more galactic and less-countryside region. I do n’t believe Mike is even close to having enough space to move this project.

The Battery powered us this day with its unique telecaster and results duo, Mike and Jarrod Annis, both of whom have lap steel. The first of three music from the superb new song,” Maze of Roses,” opened the set. It was followed with a specific beloved,” New Moon” which I first heard last summer when they come up to play Tubby’s. The tune is still the same structurally, but there is a clear sense of confidence that the combo, with a year more of working together, you then job. Today, the cosmic dance resembles cosmic swagger more.

Beginning 9/11, Mike will host a bi-monthly show with CAMP Radio ( 3pm EST/ 9pm CEST ) called” Battery Operated”. This display will be a sound journey through empirical, kaleidoscopic, ambient, celestial Americana, and spiritual Jazz. Tune in and get recharged!

This was recorded using my MBHOs and the amazing boards supply from FOH architect Daniel Stout from stage mouth. The value is great! Enjoy!
