June 30th, 2024: In mere hours, the iconic British pop group, Girls Aloud, will grace the stage one final time to commemorate the 30th and last performance of their impactful Girls Aloud Show arena tour.
Announced in autumn 2023 through a viral social media countdown and a nostalgic commercial, this eagerly awaited tour celebrates two decades since the band’s formation and pays tribute to the late, remarkable Sarah Harding, who tragically passed in 2021.
‘The Girls Aloud Show’ UK & Ireland Arena Tour 2024
With demand for tickets soaring, initial excitement for the girls’ reunion led to an expansion from 15 to 30 dates, resulting in sold-out performances at some of the UK’s and Ireland’s largest arenas, including an impressive FIVE SOLD OUT shows at London’s iconic O2 Arena.
In a heartfelt message to their devoted fans, Cheryl, Nicola, Nadine, and Kimberley emphasized their joy in reuniting, clarifying that they have no intentions of recording new music. This tour serves as a tribute to Girls Aloud’s extensive discography and the shared success they’ve experienced as a group.
Since the tour kicked off in Dublin in May, The Girls Aloud Show has received rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Zara Hedderman from The Guardian lauded them as a “glorious pop institution still calling the shots,” while Neil McCormick of The Daily Telegraph noted their remarkable growth: “these women possess qualities their younger selves would struggle to match: experience, loyalty, and the sheer joy of being on stage to celebrate their legacy and the memory of those who are no longer with us.”
Nearly 22 years after being crowned the winners of Popstars: The Rivals, it’s clear that Girls Aloud remains the ultimate British girl group of the 2000s. They defined an era and shaped a generation with their fierce attitudes, groundbreaking sound, and an impressive list of hits, including the chart-toppers ‘Sound Of The Underground’, ‘The Promise’, and ‘I’ll Stand By You’, along with timeless tracks like ‘Love Machine’, ‘Call The Shots’, ‘Biology’, ‘Something New’, and ‘The Show’.
Fast forward to 2024, and for many fans, The Girls Aloud Show transcends being just a concert; it’s a chance to reconnect with who they once were before life’s expectations took hold.
Join us alongside countless Alouders as we journey back in time, celebrating this unforgettable tour and the shared history we hold dear…

Nadine, Nicola, Cheryl, Kimberley… where do I even begin! You all are INCREDIBLE, and I can’t express enough gratitude for your return and for writing this next chapter in Girls Aloud’s story.
Beautiful Sarah, our angel in heaven, we missed you in person, but we felt your spirit each night through your sisters, who lovingly included you in what truly is one of the most memorable pop concerts EVER!
Girls, I will always stand by you.

This tour has made me realize the sense of community and connection fostered through our mutual love for Girls Aloud. Seeing the girls reunite has been breathtaking, but reconnecting with so many friends from my youth has been equally heartwarming. I once thought it was expected to outgrow such musical passions, but that could not be more false. Many of us lived passionately through Girls Aloud initially, and those simpler days felt far brighter. It has been wonderful to rediscover my old self, and I quite like her. Thank you girls xx

Thank you so much Girls Aloud for crafting an incredible show – it was astounding, and I cherished every moment! You paid homage to Sarah’s memory brilliantly, and continue to honor her legacy; she would be beaming with pride. I hope to see you again one day, as we love you.

Girls, I’m in awe of your strength, getting up on stage each night to honor Sarah.
To us, she was our idol. To you, she was a friend and a cherished part of your history. While we all adored her, the bond you shared is irreplaceable. No amount of time or distance can ever diminish the connection you all hold.
Thank you for the music, the joy, and for creating new memories during The Girls Aloud Show Tour.

Hearing your songs performed live in arenas again has been wonderful. They resonate so differently now, 20 years after we fell in love with them!
“Here I am / Walkin’ Primrose / Wondering when I’m gonna see you again…”
We will cherish both Sarah and this tour forever.

We’ve been “online friends” for over 14 years, thanks to Girls Aloud! Though we’ve shared countless messages and FaceTime calls, we finally met face to face during The Girls Aloud Show Tour!
We adored the performance and the heartfelt tribute to Sarah, so, in honor of her and the girls, we decided to get matching tattoos that read: “The darkest nights produce the brightest stars”.

Thank you for your return, girls! Following your journey from the very beginning has been a joy, and seeing you together again is incredible!
I cherished every moment of this tour with my wife, bringing together the entire fanbase to sing along to your amazing tracks. The only absence was Sarah; I wish she could have been here. The four of you have turned this tour into a beautiful tribute to her, bringing her spirit to life alongside every one of us.
Thank you once more, Love always, Sarah and Lizzie xxx
“Tonight, we invite you on a magical journey down memory lane where you will experience joy, fun, unity, freedom, nostalgia, and most importantly, celebrate our Sarah. A woman of beautiful talent, charisma, and courage. Don’t hold back. We want to see your voices raised, your arms waving, your hips swaying, and your hearts open. Leave behind your worries, because tonight, you are with us.”

As a Girls Aloud fan since I was five, this tour delivered everything I could have hoped for and more! Being so close to the “leaders of the pack” was beyond amazing!
The performance was flawless from start to finish. You treated us to all the hits, incredible choreography, stunning vocals, vibrant colors, and a spectacular tribute to our beloved Sarah.
I attended three shows, but I wish I could have done more! Let’s hope this isn’t the end…

I’m so proud of you girls for having the courage to perform without our Sarah! Your choice to tour in her honor, for the fans, is immensely appreciated – thank you for allowing us to bask in the joy of the Girls Aloud bubble once more.
I have journeyed with you from a teenager struggling with anorexia to a qualified teacher, getting married next year in Santorini. I wouldn’t be where I am without your uplifting words and empowering lyrics.
Sarah would feel immense pride seeing you all dedicate this tour to her. Each of the ten dates I’ve attended felt like she was right there with us.
While a part of Girls Aloud will always be missing, Sarah’s legacy lives on through your music and performances.
Here’s to many more years… x

Traveling from Canada just to attend the show was worth every mile!
My brother and I have been fans of Girls Aloud since we first heard ‘Sound of The Underground’. As soon as we learned about the tour, we knew we HAD to be there! My brother even moved to the UK in hopes of one day seeing the girls live. Experiencing the concert together in his new home city has created unforgettable memories.
The show was absolutely fantastic – the joy, sadness, elation, and authentic emotions from each member was palpable.
Unforgettable.

Hi, my name is Erika, a Japanese Alouder! I attended the show in Birmingham, bringing along all the love from Alouders in Asia.
You girls represent my teenage years, and the memories from that time still shine in my heart.
I hope to see you in Japan one day!
All my love, Erika x

Attending The Girls Aloud Show was a moment over 20 years in the making!
I flew in from Philadelphia to attend the opening show in Nottingham; seeing my heroes, who I’ve only known through my iPod and computer, in person was surreal!
As a child, I fell for the girls’ genuine spirit, frankness, and their innovative pop sound. They inspired me to embrace my true self. Nicolaa’s ‘Cinderella’s Eyes’ connected deeply with me during my first year of college, and her lyrics about self-acceptance made me feel seen.
The girls have significantly influenced my life for over two decades (now in my 30s), and this tour was a must-see. Every moment in that arena, singing along to the music that has always provided comfort, was a lifelong dream fulfilled.
P.S. Here’s a throwback of me and my friend during college, where we did a 46-hour dance marathon – our shirts bore the lyrics from ‘Something New’: “I don’t wanna talk, I just wanna dance!”

NINE shows!!!! Oh my GOD!!!! Thank you for the best month ever!!!! Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, London, and Liverpool – the memories are everlasting.
I’ve loved Girls Aloud since birth, and embarking on this magical journey with you has been an honor. Seeing you spot me in the crowd night after night was surreal.
Thank you, I love you.

I’m immensely proud of the girls for delivering such an outstanding tour, and for the ways in which they honored and celebrated the beautiful Sarah!
I attended the show four times, including once with my little sister, fulfilling a childhood promise to attend a Girls Aloud concert together, alongside three other meetups with longtime Alouder friends from Twitter!

Girls Aloud have significantly impacted my positivity throughout my journey with chronic illness.
The first time I saw them live was at a Capital FM gig years ago, where I was sadly unwell and had to leave just as they began. After being diagnosed with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome, I finally saw them perform again, this time at their headline show, and it was incredible! My sister and I loved it so much that we bought tickets for the final night at The O2, bringing our mum as a thank you for taking us to see the girls back in 2003.

Finally seeing you all back together was a dream come true. This was my reaction when I first saw you in Birmingham on June 19th!
I was fortunate to meet Sarah in 2016, but until this year, I never had the chance to attend a Girls Aloud concert. Dreams truly do glitter, and thank you for an amazing tour, girls!

Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine, Nicola, and our shining star Sarah… I have loved you since I was six and now I’m 28, so as Nicola aptly says in the show, we really do have a “whole lotta history”.
Girls Aloud has given me so much; I’ve made the most incredible friends because of you five!
The Girls Aloud Show was everything I hoped for and more; it has been extraordinary yet bittersweet. When the tour concludes, I will have attended seven shows, traveling to Manchester, Birmingham, London, and Liverpool. Each night was an emotional rollercoaster, with nostalgia flooding the arenas. Sarah will forever be cherished and her memory honored. Thank you for this beautiful tribute; she would be immensely proud of you all. I can’t wait for more wonderful memories in the future.
Forever an Alouder!

Girls Aloud were my everything as a child and remain vital to my life today. No words could ever encapsulate their significance then and now. My love for the girls and my bond with each of them is eternal; They will always be number one in my heart.
Losing Sarah was the first celebrity death that emotionally hit me because she felt like my lifelong friend. It’s heart-wrenching that she couldn’t join us on this tour (which we all feel), but I believe she would be proud of the girls and this shining performance, celebrating her legacy while showcasing their collective journey. Sarah was a star whose brilliance was undeniable, but gone far too soon. I’m grateful we witnessed her shine on stage.
Thank you girls for being part of my life for over two decades.

It has been incredible to witness the girls unite once more to honor their legacy and Sarah, who we all dearly miss. The tributes to her were handled with such sensitivity. I feel fortunate to have attended four shows, with more to come at Brighton Pride. My fandom began in primary school; I remember cheering for “Go Girls!” on Popstars: The Rivals, becoming the kid known for loving Girls Aloud and performing their songs during recess.
This has fostered numerous friendships, despite facing ridicule. I passionately defended my love for their music over the years, attending every concert, including my first ever in Cardiff. Seeing The Girls Aloud Show alongside the same friends I went with back then felt like a full-circle moment. We enjoyed every fleeting moment and created harmony together.
Thank you, Girls Aloud, for everything!

Dear Girls Aloud, thank you.
This tour has genuinely transformed my life! It has healed me emotionally, making me feel better about everything simply because I experienced it.
Sarah, the show was perfect, but we all felt your absence dearly. I know you witnessed the tears shed for you and the immense love displayed by thousands night after night. We miss you.

My best friend Aaliyah and I forged our friendship 12 years ago over our mutual love for Girls Aloud (despite our moms warning us about strangers!) and now we’ve finally been able to attend SIX concerts together!
It’s been an extraordinary time, and for that, we are eternally grateful! We will treasure these memories forever…and we will miss shouting “out the bedroom / down the stairs” with Kimberley every night!

Seeing Girls Aloud in Birmingham on June 19th left me utterly speechless!
As a lifelong devotee, I anticipated a good show, but The Girls Aloud Show transcended anything I could’ve imagined. Was it different without Sarah? Certainly. Yet, she was there in spirit, memorably honored during ‘Whole Lotta History’ and ‘I’ll Stand By You’, both of which made me tear up. As bittersweet as those moments were, the highs were exhilarating! It felt like one massive celebration, restoring the joy of seeing Girls Aloud as if they had never been away. I hope they don’t disappear again. This experience has reignited my fangirl passion!
Thank you for all you’ve done, Girls Aloud!

Attending your shows in Manchester and Birmingham left me in awe; each surpassed my lofty expectations! Your vocals, stage presence, costumes, visuals… everything was top-notch.
My highlight was undoubtedly during ‘Wake Me Up’, when you soared across the venue on your motorbikes – an unforgettable experience! This show was a beautiful tribute to the wonderful Sarah and a dream fulfilled to see you all together again. I will forever treasure this opportunity.
