There are many films that Christopher Nolan loves to make. particularly once you enter his Batman series. However, one of his classic movies turns 10 this time, and it will still be a classic for the director’s fans.

The film itself is Interstellar, Nolan’s investigation of a planet on the brink of extinction and one man’s determination to save it for his children. Our personalities and their culture are on the verge of collapse, according to Matthew McConaughey’s portrayal of Cooper. Food hardly exists and the prospect is grave after a minute Dust Bowl and produce blight. Cooper goes to space to try and fix the world and create a better future for his children, Murphy ( Mackenzie Foy ) and Tom ( Timothée Chalamet ).

For all the knowledge and the timey-whimeyness of a film like Interstellar, what lives at the core of this Nolan video is what makes it unique. Yes, there are times that pass before you can spend years of someone else’s living in an hour, which is great in concept, but that’s not what keeps me coming back to this film over and over.

It is the partnership between Cooper and Murph.

A tale of fathers and sons

Jessica Chastain in Interstellar
( Warner Bros. )

I watched Interstellar after my father passed away, so I had to give it a second life. I was concerned about seeing it after my father passed because it was the only Christopher Nolan movie I had n’t seen. I heard a lot about it but was n’t prepared. What I found was a film that made me feel connected, had a father-daughter bond that recalled much of my own relationship with my father, and had a disappointing conclusion.

Murph loves her parents, that’s why she is so disturbed when he has to keep. She does n’t talk to him in a childish act but she is just that: A child. She showed her admiration for Cooper for who he was through her resolve to get him as an adult.

The moments in the video where she realizes that her father was always with her, that he was communicating with her when the dust and books were on the shelf? That also appeals to me. The proverb has stuck with me and I think about it every moment I consider Interstellar, but it is true that those who we love are also watching over us.

This film, starring Cooper and Murph, is one of my favorite Nolan films, but it also deals with the connection between the parents and the girl. I really enjoyed watching the movie because it also has a lot of feminine characters who can use their own brains to try to save the world.

People who get to use their knowledge

Amelia Brand, a NASA professor who collaborates with Anne Hathaway to search for a new home in the hole, is played by Anne Hathaway. Her father, John Brand ( Michael Caine ), is working with her and Cooper to find a way to save them all.

Amelia’s power and Murphy’s persistence are characteristics that the video praises. No one minute estimates the ladies for their knowledge, they’re no belittled. They are both citizens that other people turn to for advice and assistance, respectively. I really enjoyed seeing Hathaway playing Amelia, and I think it works well with Jessica Chastain’s function as an older Murphy later in the movie as well.

Nevertheless, I really believe that Interstellar is one of Nolan’s more fascinating pictures and that many people claim to be his best and for good reason. But happy birthday, you lovely film. We love you.
