Tell us about the show Contemporary Violin and Bow Makers. What is the exhibit’s primary purpose, and when was it started?

This is time quantity 13 of the Museum. Wonderful us! Essentially speaking, we should be a year older, but we took a month off during Covid.

The Exhibition’s goal has always been to honor the achievements of living violin and bow makers from all over the world and to create string players and enthusiasts to the incredible work of modern instrument makers. Julie has frequently stated that she believes that the day is really special when violins are being made because the quality of the products being produced is unmatched. It is a pleasure for everyone to use the Exhibition to show this higher level of modern art.

What does people expect to see at the show?

The event will showcase over 45 violins, violas, and cellos ( real number is going to be 47 or 48- still TBA ), and over 35 bows ( again real number TBA ) made by an exceptional roster of makers from around the world. Some designers will be well-known to those who have previously attended the event. However, we also make an effort to incorporate new participants in our annual reach every month. Our members are usually greeted by Julie Reed-Yeboah and Yi-Ping Yang, which is really unique because of the strength of our alliances and long-lasting relationships!

Is everyone attending test out instruments?

We hope there is a good match for everyone because all of the equipment and bows are available to consider. And they are all for sale if you do discover something you simply ca n’t live without.
