Magic Tuber String Band: August 10, 2024 Deep In The Valley

Pleasant to the NYCTaper protection of the 2024 Deep In The Valley event! Once more, the event was held at From the Earth Brewery and was organized, worked over, and presented by our companions at Raven Sings The Blues, who often excelled! Another outstanding year filled with gentle emotions, good friends, and amazing tunes! Magic Tuber String Band will be playing this time!

A wire band playing an earlier day set in a niche on a remote farm seems like a slam dunk, and it was a fantastic early-day collection. However, behind, this task is much more than traditional traditions music. It has strategies inside itself. It presents the sound of summer light and picnics, but only beneath the surface hides the sound of Autumn’s deep, dark woods. It’s always one factor. Make these devices electronic, and you would, most likely, be battered by a ceiling of sound and robots. This prospect can be seen in their watching for” Spirit Tube” off 2023’s Tarantism.

The North Carolina-based team has had a successful couple of years, culminating with the launch of their new song,” Needlefall”, on Thrill Jockey Records. Our NYC residents can catch them at Public Records tonight ( 8/15 ), but they must at least visit their Bandcamp to purchase some music for the changing seasons. There is a cause I ran out to get this one out first because it was a thoroughly interesting set of songs.

This collection was made using my MBHO’s period lip and FOH engineer Daniel Stout’s outstanding board mix. I’m quite happy with the results. Enjoy!
