Talking Heads are gearing up for a deluxe version of their famous music film Stop Making Sense, which will be released on Rhino on August 18th. The music itself will be available for a whole 2-LP release as well as a restored 4K type that will make a work in theaters this summer.
It’s wonderful to see that they have some additional plans:
Every track from the movie will be featured in both variants, including two that have never been released,” Cities” and” Big Business/ I Zimbra.” The band’s limited edition rubber version comes with a 28-page booklet with previously unreleased photos and innovative primer notes from Jerry Harrison, David Byrne, Chris Frantz, and Tina Weymouth.
